Team Selection Criteria (2006)The same system will be used this year for team selection. Any shooter wanting to qualify, will have to shoot five (5) of six (6) selection shoots and he/she must shoot P.W.D. The winner of each shoot will be awarded '0' points and the next shooter down will be awarded points depending on how many targets he/she shot less than the winner. For example; if HOA (Highest Overall) won with 89 targets shot, and runner up shot 87 targets, HOA would have '0' points and runner-up would have 2 points. If the next shooter shot 86, then he/she would have 3 points and so on. If there is a tie for HOA then all shooters tied for HOA will be awarded '0' points regardless of the tie breaker used to determine the eventual winner. The five shooters with the least number of points after the St. Ann shoot will be the team. The person with the sixth fewest points will be the alternate. If there is a tie for fifth through sixth position then there will be a shoot off on April 10 immediately following the conclusion of the St. Ann event. All shooters that are interested in representing the Jamaica Skeet Club and Jamaica as members of the team must declare to the Sporting Clays Captain by May 31, 2006 , that they are willing to travel to England for the World Sporting Clay Championships.
