Commentary

On one of the most balanced scoring courses I have had the pleasure of shooting, Oneal "The Master" Brown set a wonderful sporting clays course. With a low score of 47 and HOA of 90, there were birds for the E class shooters to bag and some that had the A class shooters stretching their talent.

The new tower was used to launch a deceptively simple looking overhead bird. The looper out at 55 yards on station 1 was quite a bird! And the trap shot, off the tower, going OUT to sea was WAAYY out there! All in all, Oneal made some really nice use of the space we have available.

Craig Simpson and Ian Banks swapped positions this time out; with Craig (90) as HOA and Ian (89) as RUP. Today was a good day to be a Robert! Robert Murray (82) posted an A-Class score on his way to B1 while Robert Subaran (74) is only one class win away from B, posting C1. Peter Shoucair (67) will be shooting in C class next. Newcomer and Sub-Junior Chris Robertson (66) waltzed away with E class and will be attacking D class with a vengance next time out. Dan Dan's student made an impressive jump out of the gate!

Congrats to the staff and our manager, Paul Hanson, on having the facilities painted and looking great. We are really ready now to host those sponsorship signs out at the Club. Please contact any one on the committee to find out how you can have your company advertised at the Club this year with a sign on one of the walls or fences.

Thanks to the fifty-three (53) shooters who made it out.
We are looking forward to an even bigger turn out March 16th.

See you there!
