Team Selection Criteria 2007

This year the JCS will sanction teams to two International events.

The first event will be the Rhino Rally on February 15-18 in Florida; the second will be the World Sporting Clay Championship on April 26-29 in San Antonio Texas. Individuals interested in making the team to the Rhino Rally will have to will have to shoot Woodleigh & P.W.D. Individuals interested in making the team to the World Championship will have to shoot three of four events up to April 8th.

Please note that the JSC will not provide sponsorship for these teams!

The same system as last year will be used this year for team selection.

The winner of each shoot will be awarded '0' points and the next shooter down will be awarded points depending on how many targets he/she shot less than the winner. For example; if HOA (Highest Overall) won with 89 targets shot, and runner up shot 87 targets, HOA would have '0' points and runner-up would have 2 points. If the next shooter shot 86, then he/she would have 3 points and so on. If there is a tie for HOA then all shooters tied for HOA will be awarded '0' points regardless of the tie breaker used to determine the eventual winner.

The five shooters with the least number of points after the P.W.D & April 8th shoots respectively will be the two teams to the two respective shoots mentioned before. The person with the sixth fewest points will be the alternate. If there is a tie for fifth through sixth position then there will be a shoot off on Feb. 10 & April 8 respectively, immediately following the conclusion of these events.
